📋 Description

• Manage mid to complex Auto and/or General Liability claims, including bodily injury and property damage • Handle litigated files using delegated authority and company best practices • Receive claims and confirm policy coverage and claim acknowledgment • Determine claim validity and compensability • Investigate and handle Auto and/or General Liability claims • Establish reserves and authorize payments within reserving authority limits • Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients • Adhere to client and carrier guidelines • Participate in claims reviews as needed • Collaborate with team members on complex or problematic claims • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Five (5) or more years’ experience handling General Liability claims, including high exposure and/or litigated claims • Two (2) or more years’ experience handling Auto Liability claims • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience • Current Adjuster’s License in state of operation is required • Multi-State license is preferred • Municipality experience is a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to learn rapidly and develop knowledge of claims practice • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills • Ability to meet or exceed performance expectations • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
