📋 Description

• Implement and configure Edifecs applications for payer systems on AWS, Azure cloud, or virtual machines • Implement and manage integrations between Edifecs products and customer on-premise systems • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations, workflows, and mapping documents • Develop and test real-time and batch integrations using EDI, FHIR, and HL7 • Implement service-based integrations via RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, ESBs, and iPaaS platforms • Create mapping specifications and perform data validation, reconciliation, and error resolution • Support ETL processes and legacy data migration to new payer systems • Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities • Assist QA teams with technical test cases and validation during SIT/UAT • Partner with business analysts, SMEs, solution architects, and delivery leads on technical deliverables • Develop training and development plans and configure software according to project plans • Provide post-implementation support during transition to maintenance • Provide client-specific software training and develop training documentation • Participate in design workshops, integration sessions, and go-live readiness planning • Provide technical guidance to junior implementation staff and contribute to solution documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another technology-related field, or equivalent experience implementing and operating Java stack-based enterprise applications • 5+ years of experience in technical healthcare system implementation, preferably with a payer or health plan • 3+ years of experience with EDI mapping and EDI analysis • Deep understanding of X12 standards, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability/integration patterns • Hands-on experience analyzing transactions and creating interfaces for X12 837, 835, 834, proprietary formats, and coding standards including LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10 • Familiarity with JSON, XML, HL7v2 messages, X12, and flat files • Strong knowledge of Edifecs applications • Proficiency in data modeling and relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle • Experience implementing solutions on AWS and Azure using CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, or CloudFormation • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments • Working knowledge of Java and SOAP/REST web services • Experience troubleshooting performance problems involving disk, database, network, messaging, and platform/third-party solutions • Experience troubleshooting Java applications using tools such as jstack, VisualVM, jconsole, and jmap • Expertise with healthcare data domains including member, claims, provider, enrollment, and clinical data • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with urgency • Ability to handle confidential information professionally • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Flexibility to work with global teams and geographically dispersed US-based teams • Must provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
