📋 Description

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for the Cotiviti product suite • Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies and techniques • Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed implementation designs • Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers • Continuously update professional knowledge of technologies selected and integrated into the product suite • Manage change control • Enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in written and electronic form • Review software engineering approaches to proposed solutions for adherence to best practices • Mentor team members in software engineering methods and techniques • Complete annual performance review and goal-setting responsibilities • Complete special projects and other assigned duties • Collaborate with Senior Developers, QA, Product Owners, Project Management, and other stakeholders • Develop innovative healthcare analytics applications that generate performance improvement opportunities and value for clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience • 2–3 years’ experience with software engineering best practices such as continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, and code reviews • 2–3 years’ experience with Java or Python • 2–3 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle • Proficiency working with large data sets • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and common design patterns • Working knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or SQL programming skills • Knowledge of application frameworks such as Java SE or Spring • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with exposure to Agile/Scrum techniques • Strong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices preferred • Ability to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within estimated timelines • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
