📋 Description

• Perform support and general administrative assignments for the audit or auditors, including filing, data entry, tracking, and correspondence • Obtain data files and generate audit reports by identifying file parameters and extracting data from downloaded or imported files • Review client systems and update Cotiviti systems as needed • Serve as a point of contact for general inquiries and data requests from internal and external customers • Communicate with clients or providers following established processes and procedures • Proofread claims submittals, checking totals, wording, calculations, and accuracy before client submission • Maintain department productivity goals and quality standards • Follow department rules, processes, regulatory guidelines, HIPAA laws, and client-specific requirements • Alert managers to system, productivity, quality, or other work-related issues • Identify information sources and execute processes to disseminate and update information • Collaborate with Information Technology to develop knowledge-sharing technology products or solutions • Handle basic issues under direct supervision and refer complex issues to Senior or Team Lead members • Learn and apply basic audit operations concepts and integrate new assignments with moderate guidance • Gather data, analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks for timely completion • Complete annual Performance Plan responsibilities, special projects, and other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 0-1 years of related experience and/or High School Diploma or equivalent education • 1 to 2+ years administrative support preferred • Billing or coding experience preferred • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system databases required • Working knowledge of applicable industry-based standards • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work well in an individual and team environment • Ability to create and maintain collaborative partnerships • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation • Must maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality/security of data
