📋 Description

• Conduct and deliver physical audits and results for NextGear Capital’s Risk organization • Support client-facing Operations team members managing the portfolio of dealer accounts • Conduct physical and financial audits to assess client business health and risk • Assess sales documentation, physical inventory audit results, and dealership staff behaviors • Deliver audit results in written, visual, and verbal form to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership • Interact with clients to resolve outstanding audit items, including missing financial information and inventory • Establish rapport with dealers and perform comprehensive risk assessments at dealer locations, auctions, and repair shops • Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes and practices and identify risks • Inspect collateral through lot and title audits and determine dealer equity and business health for underwriting • Verify inventory in market share conversions of $500,000+ to mitigate risk and grow the portfolio • Present findings to dealers and re-educate them on contract requirements, review inventory trends, collect payments, and obtain documentation • Assist Recovery with repossessions, including collecting keys, securing collateral, arranging transportation to auction, and monitoring daily funding receivables • Perform repo and location audits • Travel approximately 100% of the work month, primarily in an outside dealership-lot environment, with possible air travel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field with generally less than 2 years of auto industry related experience • Alternatively, 4 years’ experience in a related field • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Must be able and willing to travel regional on short notice 75% of the time • Must have a valid driver’s license • Ability to speak Spanish preferred • 1–2 years audit/inspection experience preferred • Must reside in Texas – Central Time Zone, with preference given to candidates in San Antonio, TX • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Ability to work in heat, cold, rain, sleet, and other inclement weather conditions • Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially unpleasant or aggressive field work environments
