📋 Description

• Regularly review utility consumption database by conducting data audits and verification checks • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for water and waste data • Track facility-level waste data and identify opportunities for reduction, recycling, composting, diversions, and exemptions • Monitor construction and demolition waste program across the C&W facility portfolio, including quarterly and semi-annual audits • Analyze water consumption and irrigation consumption data to determine and report anomalies • Assist with baseline creation for future water targets • Model historical utility consumption data into projections to assess goal progress • Conduct benchmarking and research on sustainability trends • Research technologies to support GHG emission, waste, and water reduction goals • Create internal and client presentations • Understand third-party irrigation vendor software to assess potential improvements or additions • Work cross functionally with other teams to incorporate sustainability principles and goal alignment • Develop an understanding of the client’s supply and value chain • Contribute toward internal and external sustainability goal setting • Lead internal client update meetings and requisite reporting • Participate in client meetings and workshops and maintain required documentation • Perform QA/QC responsibilities for real estate data reporting • Represent C&W professionally and cooperate with personnel to achieve goals and objectives • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative work standards • Keep skills and work knowledge current • Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures • Manage internal environmental sustainability reporting, including success stories, sustainability goals, RFPs, and ad hoc heavy reporting responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• BS in engineering or related field • 2 to 3 years of experience performing business analytics on energy and CO2 consumption • Industry specific certification in one or more of the following areas: USGBC (LEED), IFMA (SFP), AEE (CEM) • Familiarity with associations and programs such as Association of Energy Engineers, demand response/curtailment, EPA Energy Star for buildings, LEED Green Building Certification programs, Global Exchange, and Natural Resources Canada • Experience with alternative power sources, energy conservation retrofits, and carbon offsets • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with senior managerial and executive level personnel • Ability to perform extended periods of sitting and/or computer operation for up to 8 hours a day • Ability to move between departments, floors, and properties • Ability to speak clearly and understand information presented orally and in writing • Ability to read and communicate information and ideas in writing and orally • Ability to utilize vision abilities for reading printed material, graphics, and computer displays
