📋 Description

• Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines • Extract, analyze, and model structured and unstructured datasets • Design easily testable and maintainable software • Support data strategies and the company’s data vision • Track emerging data engineering technologies and trends and incorporate modern tooling and best practices • Develop extendable data processing systems that support adding and scaling pipelines • Apply machine learning techniques including anomaly detection, clustering, regression, classification, and summarization • Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate development, refactoring, and code generation • Contribute as a core member of product teams with significant influence over engineering and delivery decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering • 4+ years of experience with Python • Experience developing, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, fault tolerance, and observability of production data pipelines • Fundamental knowledge of ETL/ELT, batch and streaming, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed processing • Strong knowledge of SDLC and solid software engineering practices • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code • Familiarity with Python, PySpark, Pandas, SQL (PostgreSQL), Elasticsearch, Airflow, Docker, Databricks, AWS services, CircleCI, GitHub, and Terraform • Knowledge of AI-assisted coding and experience with Cursor, Copilot, or Codex • Experience leveraging AI IDEs such as Cursor for scaffolding components and APIs, refactoring codebases, documentation, and prototyping • Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate ideas effectively • Self-starter who takes initiative
