📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships with retail agents and insurance carriers to secure optimal terms and pricing • Assess client needs, interpret coverage requirements, and identify potential markets for placement • Negotiate and structure insurance programs aligned with client objectives and risk profiles • Prepare, review, and deliver proposals, quotes, and binders in compliance with internal policies • Monitor market trends, carrier appetites, and pricing conditions • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and claims teams • Maintain documentation of transactions, agreements, and communications • Support business development through prospecting and relationship management • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards • Use technology tools to streamline processes and maintain data integrity in brokerage submissions

🎯 Requirements

• English language fluency required • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or related role • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and carriers • Strong track record of negotiating terms and managing complex placement transactions • Proficiency in industry-specific systems and Microsoft Office Suite • Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license required • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field preferred • CIC, CPCU, or ARM designations preferred • Knowledge of insurance coverages, policy forms, and risk transfer mechanisms • Analytical skills for evaluating market conditions and client needs • Proficiency in technology tools used for submissions and tracking
