📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex or high-exposure Construction Defect claims within authority limits • Conduct comprehensive coverage analysis and determine liability exposure • Negotiate settlements within authority limits and organizational objectives • Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to less experienced claims staff • Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure proper claim resolution • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices • Prepare and present reports on claim status, trends, and risk exposure to management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field • Minimum of 5+ years of experience handling complex Construction Defect claims • Prior experience managing complex or high-severity claims preferred • Experience with litigation management and settlement negotiation • Adjuster license as required by jurisdiction • Industry certifications such as CPCU or AIC preferred but not mandatory • Advanced knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and claims processes • Proficiency in claims management systems and related technology tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating complex claim scenarios • Effective negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines under pressure
