📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning • Provide ongoing medication management, including initiating, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications • Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, IPT, or other appropriate modalities • Support women experiencing mental health concerns across reproductive and postpartum stages • Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation • Facilitate referrals to appropriate mental health providers, services, and community resources when needed • Participate in case consultations, clinical discussions, and supervision meetings • Work independently while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the remote care team

🎯 Requirements

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification and nurse practitioner license in good standing • Must be licensed to practice in at least one of the following states: Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, Washington D.C., or Maryland • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and psychotherapy • Experience working with women's mental health, particularly reproductive and/or postpartum mental health, is strongly preferred • Strong knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology and medication management • Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote multidisciplinary care team • Commitment to providing culturally responsive, compassionate, and patient-centered care
