📋 Description

• Lead and manage the preconstruction phase from conceptual design to construction readiness • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to define project scope, budget, timeline, and goals • Organize and attend preconstruction meetings with stakeholders • Develop and manage project cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor bids • Perform value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities • Develop and manage preliminary construction schedules and critical milestones • Coordinate subcontractor involvement, material procurement, and site preparation timelines • Identify preconstruction risks and develop mitigation strategies • Review contract documents for issues or discrepancies • Maintain drawings, specifications, contracts, and other preconstruction documentation • Provide progress updates to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders • Lead and mentor estimators, coordinators, and assistants • Foster collaboration and communication across the preconstruction team • Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and external partners • Serve as the primary client contact during preconstruction

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred) • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in construction management or preconstruction • Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling • Proven experience managing complex construction projects from concept to completion • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and preconstruction methodologies • Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, and ProEst • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines • LEED AP, PMP, or other relevant certifications • OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
