📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients • Oversee and participate directly in the loan process from start to finish • Assist Loan Officers and Loan Processors with loan eligibility and lending guideline questions • Review and analyze complex income documentation and calculate qualifying income • Assist with training sales or processing staff • Communicate with borrowers about loan programs, costs, and applicable loan documents • Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers • Ensure loan structure presents the best program for the borrower’s financial circumstances • Review files for missing documentation supporting approval • Communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers when licensed • Pre-underwrite loan items to support approval • Input disclosure feeds and set up loans to fit borrower needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience • 3–5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience • Experience with Encompass LOS preferred • Prior underwriting experience is a plus • Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage and consumer regulations • Excellent math and analytics skills • Excellent communication skills • Excellent prioritization and time management skills • Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows • License required to communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers
