📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate responses to regulatory examinations, audits, and information requests from federal and state agencies • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements through independent research and evaluation • Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer on examination preparedness and remediation strategies • Gather, review, and organize documentation and data responsive to examination requests with business stakeholders • Track examination findings, corrective action plans, and remediation timelines • Develop, review, and amend policies and procedures based on regulatory changes, examination feedback, or identified requirements • Report examination matters requiring attention to the EVP, Attorney, Regulatory Counsel and provide recommendations • Perform other legal and compliance responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of mortgage lending experience • At least 1 year in a regulatory examination or audit-focused role • Experience managing or supporting regulatory examinations conducted by state regulators, the CFPB, or prudential regulators • Experience with a loan origination system; Encompass preferred • Knowledge of consumer mortgage lending laws and regulations, including TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, ECOA, and HMDA • Knowledge of state regulatory requirements • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Skill navigating dynamic regulatory environments
