📋 Description

• Lead complex investigations across endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud environments • Serve as technical lead for high-severity and multi-customer incidents • Analyze EDR telemetry, forensic artifacts, and network data to determine root cause, attacker TTPs, and compromise scope • Investigate sophisticated Microsoft 365 attacks, including BEC and AITM • Perform static and dynamic malware analysis • Develop and lead remediation plans for compromised environments • Coordinate third-party platform containment actions across customer infrastructure • Mentor and develop Analyst team members • Contribute to training materials, knowledge base content, and team capability development • Drive process improvements, SOP development, and automation • Represent CrowdStrike through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and external speaking engagements • Deliver expert-level customer communications and manage technical escalations • Serve as a trusted advisor during critical incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in incident response, information security, or related areas • Expert-level experience leading complex incident response investigations from triage through remediation • Experience investigating host/user compromises, organized crime groups, and nation-state adversaries • Deep expertise in threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures, including MITRE ATT&CK • Advanced computer forensic analysis across host, memory, and network artifacts • Advanced static and dynamic malware analysis, including reverse engineering concepts • Expert-level knowledge of Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems, with depth in at least one • Advanced experience administering and securing enterprise network environments • Expert-level knowledge of network protocols and traffic analysis • Deep expertise with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory • Advanced experience investigating and remediating Microsoft 365 security incidents, including BEC and AITM • Advanced proficiency querying and correlating logs in SIEM environments • Proven expertise developing and executing incident remediation plans • Expert-level understanding of secure network architecture and enterprise network troubleshooting • Experience developing scripts and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Experience with AI models, platforms, MCP servers, agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI adoption • Ability to lead complex technical investigations independently as a subject matter expert • Demonstrated mentoring and team development experience • Thought leadership in the incident response industry • Project management skills and ability to complete process improvement initiatives • Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule, including a weekend day • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder • BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a specified technical or related field required, although applicants without a degree but with relevant work experience and/or training will be considered • May be required to periodically undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests
