📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership, advice, guidance, and support on family strengthening and safe family-based alternative care programming • Serve as the project's lead technical resource for strengthening child protection systems and promoting family-based care • Develop and refine technical approaches, guidance, tools, and implementation frameworks • Provide remote and on-site technical solutions to regional and Country Program teams • Support government institutions, faith actors, civil society organizations, and social service workforces to strengthen child protection and family care services • Contribute to technical design of large and complex proposals, monitoring systems, and indicators • Advise project teams on integrating donor strategies, priorities, and technical requirements • Develop learning strategies, training curricula, technical guidance, workshops, mentoring, and coaching • Promote cross-country learning, knowledge management, and exchange of best practices • Collect and analyze program data, evaluate strategic projects, measure impact, and produce technical reports and learning products • Support milestone-based deliverables, technical verification, and adaptive management • Establish and maintain relationships with donors, peer organizations, research institutions, and other stakeholders • Participate in forums related to early childhood development, nurturing care, positive parenting, child health, nutrition, early learning, and household economic strengthening • Coordinate technical support with the Child Protection and Care System Strengthening Technical Advisor II

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Protection, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Human Services, International Development, Social Policy, Public Policy, Education, or a related field • Minimum of eight years of relevant international work experience in an advisory or management role with progressive responsibilities • Minimum of three years supporting family strengthening, alternative care, early childhood development, household economic strengthening, safeguarding, or related programming • Previous experience providing technical assistance and developing successful proposals for external donor funding • Demonstrated technical application in family strengthening, family-based alternative care, safeguarding, reintegration, and family-based case management • Proficiency in MS Office packages, web conferencing applications, information and budget management systems, and knowledge-sharing networks • Experience in business development, project design, proposal development, and technical writing • Experience in mentoring, coaching, facilitation, and training using adult learning principles • Experience with program monitoring and evaluation, data collection, data analysis, data presentation, and data use for decision-making • Experience networking with donors, partners, peer organizations, and faith-based civil society partners • Strong relationship management, strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong presentation, facilitation, training, mentoring, and coaching skills • Fluency in English required • Must be legally able to work where the position is performed • Must sign and adhere to the CRS Code of Conduct • Pre-employment medical clearance required for positions requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country
