• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy supporting DDTP marketing and outreach efforts • Create accessible, relevant, and engaging content for deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, and disabled communities • Write, edit, and publish content for websites, social media, newsletters, brochures, reports, presentations, flyers, and other materials • Ensure content is clear, concise, accurate, current, easy to navigate, on-brand, and accessible • Provide image alternative text, video captions, and screen-reader-friendly formatting • Stay current with accessibility best practices • Collaborate with marketing, outreach, technical teams, subject matter experts, program staff, and stakeholders • Develop and manage a cross-platform content calendar • Coordinate timely delivery of materials for campaigns, events, and initiatives • Evaluate marketing requests and create on-brand collateral • Develop educational materials about DDTP services, eligibility requirements, and telecommunications equipment access • Manage multiple content projects from concept through completion, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines • Use audience and community feedback to improve content and support DDTP beneficiaries • Use SEO practices and performance information to optimize content
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Public Relations, Design or related field; or equivalent professional experience preferred • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting digital and marketing campaigns • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience supporting creative and content production, coordination, sales, advertising, customer service, public relations, or a similar field • Demonstrated experience creating and managing written, visual, and multimedia content • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Proficiency in AP style and disability-related language guidelines • In-depth understanding of WCAG and digital accessibility best practices • Proficiency with content management systems such as WordPress • Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva • Experience with SEO best practices and optimization tools • Ability to use analytics tools such as Google Analytics • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and accessibly • Ability to think creatively and strategically • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language preferred • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
