📋 Description

• Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development • Serve as an individual contributor on complex projects • Maintain an excellent functional understanding of supported applications • Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks • Prepare and manage the technical component of project plans • Participate in systems development activities from technical analysis through user acceptance testing • Prepare and review test data, execute detailed test plans, and complete debugging • Evaluate complex interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms • Provide analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing information technology solutions • Prepare and review technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation • Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems • Prepare and review project assessments, including tasks, time frames, and effort estimates • Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications • Recommend new technology, policies, or processes and participate in technical evaluations of vendor software • Follow and promote development standards and procedures • Maintain understanding of the supported business functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction • Assist in developing expense and capital budgets • Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and internal control standards • Identify risk-related issues requiring escalation to management • Promote an environment supporting diversity and reflecting the Bank brand • Implement internal and external audit points and address regulator-raised issues as applicable • Complete related duties or projects, including due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, and business studies • Work under the Technology Team Lead and independently manage high-level systems analysis and technical development phases • Manage project-based activities of others and monitor staff performance • Interact with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors • Provide backup to higher management and serve as a technical representative on committees or ad-hoc projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of an Associates degree and 5 years systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years systems analysis/application development experience • Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms • Proficiency with personal computers, project management software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software • Ability to work on multiple projects of a complex nature • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to the target audience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Detail-oriented • Strong lateral thinking skills • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units • Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates • Good understanding of the Bank's application framework • Subject matter expertise in the business, with knowledge or experience utilizing the supported application/system • Advanced understanding of supported applications and interfacing/integrated applications • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously • Ability to multitask across various components of complex projects • Advanced knowledge and focus of the entire system for projects outside normal business-as-usual activities
