📋 Description

• Build a single-box emulator of the full hardware and software stack for release testing and future customer in-silico validation • Shape testing for hardware-in-the-loop systems, from unit coverage to end-to-end runs against real and simulated instruments • Define verification, traceability, and documentation practices for software changes toward regulated environments • Design and build features for Console, the cloud-based bioprocess management software • Partner with software, hardware, and scientific teams to translate bioprocessing and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions • Mentor other engineers and contribute to strong software development practices across the team • Learn about biotechnology and bioprocess development

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience • Prior experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test, Test Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar automation-focused role • Experience working on and scaling full-stack applications, including frontend development and backend service design • Product-focused approach and consideration of end-user perspectives • Technical rigor • Preferred: Experience with simulators, emulators, or hardware-in-the-loop test harnesses • Preferred: Experience shipping software in a regulated industry, such as medical devices, pharma, biopharma, or petrochemical • Preferred: Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps background • Preferred: Strong interest in life sciences or biotechnology
