• Develop, manage, and sustain heavy-duty aftermarket sales in the traditional aftermarket automotive parts sector • Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to store locations • Conduct regular sales performance reviews with top customers • Provide product sales and technical training to customers as needed • Coordinate and communicate sales efforts and needs within the team, Meritor leadership, and customer-facing departments • Develop and execute a focused aftermarket sales plan • Maintain an opportunity pipeline and use sales metrics to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities • Build influential customer relationships and maintain consistent face-to-face call patterns • Partner with product, marketing, technical, training, and dealer sales teams • Present territory and customer insights to leadership • Optimize travel and routing for maximum engagement • Develop pricing strategies and lead negotiations • Develop and execute strategic account plans using forecasting, pipeline management, and customer insights
• More than 5 years of experience in aftermarket heavy duty truck parts sales or related industries • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on sales data • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) • Proven ability to develop, strengthen, and grow strategic customer relationships • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong complex problem-solving capabilities • Effective presentation skills for both small groups and large audiences • Critical thinking and strong negotiation abilities • Preferred location: Minneapolis, MN, Omaha, NE or Des Moines, IA • Able to travel up to 75% • Required: College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, or acceptable sales-related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required
