📋 Description

• Inspect new electrical installations and investigate incidents • Review plans, design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and qualification documentation • Issue, obtain, pull, purchase, and manage electrical permits across states and municipalities • Ensure Cummins employees and subcontractors comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, and state electrical laws and regulations • Conduct site visits, checklist reviews, JSO activities, electrical safety audits, and compliance checks • Educate stakeholders and enforce electrical codes, standards, safety procedures, and licensing requirements • Maintain compliance records and document completed inspections in Cummins systems • Monitor technician trainee cards, electrical work hours, renewals, and continuing education submissions • Coordinate permitting and compliance with PEM/PM/Data Center and Start & Test teams • Maintain relationships with state, city, local, and industrial-relations agencies • Participate in electrical safety meetings and support an improved safety culture • Support technician development, customer experience, process improvement, and organized recordkeeping • Attend required virtual and in-person meetings and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• College, university, or equivalent degree required • Maintain a current Master Electrician license, equivalent master license, or other required electrical licenses in the home state and reciprocal states as required • Maintain required work hours and continuing education credits • Hold or be willing to apply for reciprocity electrical licenses in applicable states • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience • Knowledge of NEC and state electrical installation laws and regulations • Knowledge of NFPA 70E codes and qualification requirements • Ability to qualify medium/high- and low-voltage electrical systems • Ability to inspect electrical installations, review plans and documentation, issue and pull permits, and enforce codes and standards • Ability to travel extensively and attend virtual and in-person meetings • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain relationships with state, city, and local agencies • Ability to comply with safety procedures, including JSO, JSA, LOTO, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, safety shoes, and wheel chocks
