• Lead quoting and project management activities for new Wabtec partnership Marine programs within the CSSNA DBU • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop accurate cost proposals and coordinate delivery schedules supporting program commitments • Plan, schedule, and lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project quotations, scope, and milestone status • Manage the full program lifecycle, including prototype development, installation, commissioning, transition to production release, and subsequent deliveries • Independently manage assigned projects or programs, including scope, schedule, deliverables, priorities, timelines, and coordination • Engage and align cross-functional teams, customers, and external stakeholders • Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into actionable project plans • Identify project risks, issues, and constraints and develop mitigation strategies • Facilitate conflict discussions and provide objective recommendations during escalations • Support compliant and collaborative project execution
• College, university, or equivalent degree required • Position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required • Experience in prototype cost analysis and/or manufacturing cost estimation • Preferred experience in shipbuilding programs and/or large subcontractor or tiered supplier environments • Working knowledge of product compliance and regulatory frameworks for defense programs, including FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, cybersecurity, and applicable industry standards • Experience managing supply timelines for government and defense-related equipment • Experience enforcing disciplined project execution, including follow-up, escalation, and accountability for scope, schedule, and deliverables • Experience working on U.S. Government programs requiring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) compliance • Advanced ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, specifications, and configuration documentation • Understanding of government contract requirements, deliverables, documentation standards, and compliance obligations • Capability to manage configuration changes, revisions, and contract modifications throughout the project lifecycle • Familiarity with quality and testing processes, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), inspections, and documentation packages • Ability to use and adapt to multiple project management tools and customer-preferred systems • Ability to independently manage projects or programs and maintain accountability for scope, schedule, and deliverables • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills • Ability to engage and align cross-functional teams, customers, and external stakeholders • Ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies • Ability to facilitate conflict resolution and provide objective recommendations • Microsoft Project proficiency • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
