• Deliver timely and accurate diagnostic support for less complex warranty and non-warranty repair events • Formulate and direct repair plans to enable first-time fix success and consistent repair quality • Document diagnostic findings and repair actions in appropriate systems • Assess issue complexity and escalate problems to higher levels of support • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve diagnostic and escalation processes • Maintain technical knowledge of current and new Cummins products • Serve as a technical resource for internal teams • Promote Cummins service capabilities and programs during support interactions • Support effective stakeholder communication and customer service • Gather information using data management tools for technical escalation • Review service capability metrics and address channel development opportunities
• College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • Prior experience in a technical role is preferred • Highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostic, and warranty support for Cummins diesel and spark-ignited products ranging from 2.2–15 liter displacement • Willingness to learn and support additional product lines and services, including Accelera technologies, Marine products, Telematics devices, Crate engines, Warranty, Catastrophic Failure Investigations, and Recon • Advanced proficiency with QSOL, Service Suite, Parts.Cummins.com, RSW, GCE, SEDB, Windchill, Insite, and Guidanz • Ability to use data and analytical tools to process engine data and support diagnostic decision-making • Willingness to develop proficiency in Excel, DIAdem, and additional tools and systems • Maintain required safety-related training based on Cummins and CARE guidelines • Detailed technical communication skills, verbal and written • Ability to work remotely with little supervision and manage one's own schedule • Ability to support customers both remotely and onsite • Willingness to support markets outside the standard scope when needed
