📋 Description

• Own the provider network platform, including ingestion pipelines, matching logic, internal APIs, and operations admin tooling • Turn messy third-party provider rosters into a canonical, trustworthy network picture • Own provider matching, identity resolution, and coverage decisions • Operate the real-time decision service with responsibility for latency, uptime, SLOs, safeguards, and rollouts • Build and extend AI agents for operational review, approval, triage, and workflow automation • Define and maintain internal API contracts used by other teams • Detect card misuse patterns and design workflows to address them • Own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, migrations, observability, on-call, incident response, cost, and responsible handling of PHI and payment information • Monitor operational metrics, identify improvements, and close the loop • Partner with network operations, member services, product, and API-consuming teams on requirements and roadmap • Develop domain expertise in provider-network workflows within 90 days

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years shipping production software • Fluency in Python and TypeScript • Enough TypeScript and React experience to own a frontend • Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals • Experience building data-intensive applications that ingest, transform, and reconcile messy third-party data • Comfort with matching or deduplication problems, including record linkage and entity resolution • Experience operating systems where latency and availability mattered, including SLOs, timeouts, caching, graceful degradation, kill switches, and careful rollouts • Correctness mindset with checks, invariants, and audit trails • Systems and architecture thinking, including failure modes and blast radius • Production cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or equivalent, including on-call experience • Comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders • Sharp written communication • Current use of Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent as a primary development tool • Ability to structure prompts, split work into subagents, and prevent AI output drift • Review every AI-generated diff • Enjoy building AI tooling such as skills, evals, fixtures, and integrations • Strongly preferred: portfolio of AI-assisted work • Strongly preferred: single ownership of a non-trivial production service • Strongly preferred: LLM-backed features involving tool use, agent loops, evals, and unsupervised-action policies • Strongly preferred: payments, risk, or fraud experience • Strongly preferred: search, relevance, or production embeddings experience • Strongly preferred: data platform or master-data-management experience • Strongly preferred: extracting a service from a monolith and cutting it over without disruption • Prior healthcare, insurance, or payments experience is not required
