📋 Description

• Oversee maintenance, optimization, and potential expansion of state dashboard tools centralizing data collection and reporting across all 50 states • Ensure state-level data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for organizational stakeholders • Identify and analyze evolving state-level trends and assess impacts on business operations • Lead discussions on strategic adjustments in response to regulatory or market changes • Partner with Assessment, Adoptions/Bids and Proposals, Educator Success, Marketing, Sales, Assessment Insights, Research, and State Solutions teams • Collect, display, and utilize state-level data in Curriculum Associates tools and processes • Produce and deliver tailored resources, recurring reports, and interactive dashboards • Cultivate a high-performance, high-quality culture with the Vice President, Policy and Engagement • Lead retrospectives and process evaluations and implement continuous-improvement best practices • Foster collaboration and alignment between teams for efficient execution of state strategies • Manage dependencies, risks, and issues related to state strategies and drive resolutions • Advise the Vice President, Policy and Engagement on team management issues and lead the government relations function as needed • Lead special cross-functional projects and other assigned duties • Synthesize regional and national policy and market trends to identify threats and opportunities • Gather and vet research and data and develop policy/business cases, policy proposals, and external communications materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 5-10 years of equivalent experience of successful management of cross-functional edtech/digital and/or assessment programs • Deep knowledge of the state assessment and instructional materials market, the K-12 education landscape, edtech market, and current curriculum and assessment trends • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence • Ability to manage ambiguity to determine end goals, key results, and path forward • Expert in the use and development of Smartsheet and other similar project management tools for collaboration (e.g., Sharepoint) • Strong organizational and time management skills • Effective communication skills • Effective decision-making capability, ownership, and accountability • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable next steps for cross-functional audiences, including in strategic recommendations, business cases, and policy proposals • Experience providing strategic or management support to senior leadership preferred • Proficient with Salesforce.com and the entire Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with state education policy, requirements, departments of education, and national trends in K-12 education • PMP preferred • Experience with product management preferred • MBA or MA in relevant field preferred • Experience working with digital assessment and curricular products preferred • Experience in EdTech and publishing preferred • Familiarity with Curriculum Associates products and services preferred • Familiarity with high stakes assessment use cases preferred • Travel up to 30% may be required, subject to business need
