📋 Description

• Install, configure, and support the organization's IT infrastructure and cloud services • Maintain, monitor, and react to error conditions for IT assets and services, focusing on security, availability, and scalability • Analyze IT infrastructure to improve performance, capacity, and scalability • Evaluate new technologies for company initiatives and budget planning • Collaborate on the development and design of computer systems and network infrastructure • Oversee development, installation, configuration, monitoring, and administration of computer systems and networks • Manage project timelines and documentation • Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions, including potential 24x7 on-call network and systems support • Coach and train infrastructure and service desk teams on new systems, protocols, and best practices • Drive advancements in IT technology, protocols, and best practices • Build and configure server environments and application services using automation tools • Provide an escalation point for IT Support Services, including Office 365, Active Directory, end-user networking, and client applications and processes • Create and update process and procedure documentation, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, server build standards, data reports/analytics, and operations manuals

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems • Experience administering cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications such as Azure or AWS • Storage administration experience • VMware management, optimization, and troubleshooting experience • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft products including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, IIS, and SharePoint • Experience with MDM, SSO, email security, privilege management, or similar tools • Experience with database management software such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server • Understanding of system monitoring processes and best practices • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly to a high level of proficiency • Understanding of information security principles and best practices, including network-level and endpoint protection mechanisms • Previous experience providing 24x7 mission-critical support • Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction • Minimum of 7 years' experience as an IT systems engineer is preferred • Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in related fields are preferred • Minimum travel required between sites or for training purposes (<10%)
