• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers • Analyze requirements, produce engineering designs, create Statements of Work, Person-Time Estimates, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and proposal documents • Provide technical input into the development of sales proposals, including identification of equipment, contractors and 3rd party vendors • Support the sales process, account management teams, and delivery teams • Interface with sales staff, resellers' and customers' technical staff in the identification of customer solutions • Collaborate with sales team to identify opportunities based on complex requirements • Work as the Consulting resource for a professional sales team to communicate compelling value propositions • Provide technical guidance to other members of the Sales Engineering Team • Design, configure, and install network infrastructure and systems using PacStar Strategic and Tactical Unified Communications Products • Ensure products and services are effectively delivered to the customer • Obtain and maintain technical certifications necessary for PacStar success
• US Citizenship Required • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance • The ability to travel both domestic and international up to 50% of the time • Must have at least 5 years of successful technical experience supporting sales of technical products in similar fields • Must have at least 2 -3 years of successful experience deploying network technologies such as wireless, VoIP, LAN, WAN, WLAN, security, and/or enterprise IT systems • Current certifications: At least one Cisco CCNP (Router/Switch, Voice, Security, or Wireless) required • Aruba ACMP, Juniper JNCIP or relevant experience preferred • Experience with any network management applications such as SolarWinds, SNMPc, What's Up Gold, Microsoft Management Console, or Wireshark • Windows security administration including certificate management, local security policy, Active Directory, PKI • Comfortable editing XML and Windows registry • Must have experience fielding, training, and deploying Army solutions.
