📋 Description

• Manage all cost management activities for one or multiple complex projects focusing on mechanical trades, including divisions 21, 22 and 23 • Establish the cost management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs • Prepare quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates and additional mechanical scope studies • Evaluate labor productivities using appropriate resources • Integrate third-party plans and cost components into integrated cost plans • Provide detailed cost risk, issue and mitigation analysis to project managers, clients, construction managers, engineering teams and other third parties • Drive project accruals and forecasting processes on a monthly, biweekly and/or weekly basis • Support risk management and quantitative risk assessments • Develop and lead earned value components of complex manufacturing programs • Support project control and project execution plan development • Review and approve subcontractor and third-party invoices • Assist with RFPs, RFQs and project-related contract negotiations • Drive project estimate development and value engineering • Assist with cost management procedures for Cushman & Wakefield and clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field • 8 or more years of related experience working as a cost management expert on capital projects, including design and construction phases • Mechanical estimating experience • Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and prepare quantity take-offs • Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment • Expertise using Excel • Experience within the construction industry required • Experience with data centers and life science preferred • Additional life sciences experience strongly preferred
