📋 Description

• Oversee healthcare management staff and organize and develop high-performing teams • Work with functional area managers to ensure consistency in health-related and psychosocial interventions • Meet financial, operational, and quality objectives of the unit • Oversee implementation of healthcare management services for the assigned functional area • Maintain policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state, and federal standards • Implement and monitor best-practice approaches and innovations addressing members’ needs across the continuum of care • Liaise with key business areas • Manage resources responsible for member identification, care-plan development and implementation, medical appropriateness, quality of care, and care monitoring, evaluation, and documentation • Manage an individual caseload when required • Serve as a point of contact for customers and the Account Team, including customer meetings and implementation of customer cultural requirements • Support implementation of new customers • Assess developmental needs and implement action plans supporting high-performing teams • Promote teamwork, cross-product integration, and continuum-of-care thinking • Lead change efforts as a model change agent • Collaborate with licensed staff overseeing clinical staff and licensed personnel activities • Mentor the team on practice standards, intervention quality, problem resolution, and critical thinking

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a physical or behavioral healthcare setting • 1+ year(s) management experience • 3+ years of experience in managed care • Knowledge of regulations, standards, and policies relating to medical management • Bachelor’s Degree in health or human services or a related field (REQUIRED) • Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of the computer • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload • Quiet, secure, private designated home workspace compliant with CVS Health and HIPAA guidelines • Ability to work within the state and city where currently living • Comfort setting up and using multiple monitors and navigating multiple applications • Ability to communicate through email, calendar invites, Teams messaging, and virtual meetings • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications or similar Google Workspace applications • Ability to log in to secure systems such as VPN and EHR portals • Ability to maintain computer and password security and recognize suspicious emails or links • Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues independently • Must obtain required internet speeds and adhere to Work From Home requirements if hired
