📋 Description

• Support business analytics strategies advancing organizational reporting, data governance, quality assurance, project delivery, and operational performance goals • Develop and maintain business definitions, reporting logic, data dictionaries, metadata, reporting inventories, lineage documentation, process documentation, and governance standards • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to clarify data requirements, document data ownership, investigate data quality concerns, and promote governed data assets • Support governance meetings, working sessions, issue tracking, decision documentation, and follow-up activities • Develop, maintain, and deliver recurring reports, dashboards, analyses, and ad hoc business requests using SQL, Tableau, DataMarts, cloud-based analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting tools • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into analytic or reporting deliverables • Analyze business performance, operational trends, financial results, utilization, and other measures • Maintain reporting schedules, process documentation, business logic, and production procedures • Perform quality assurance and validation of reports, dashboards, datasets, queries, business logic, transformations, and analytic outputs • Develop and execute test plans, validation queries, reconciliations, reasonability checks, and documentation • Investigate discrepancies, reporting defects, and process gaps; document findings and perform root-cause analysis • Participate in peer reviews and production-readiness assessments • Coordinate analytics, reporting, governance, documentation, quality assurance, migration, and process-improvement initiatives • Maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, status updates, risks, dependencies, action items, and deliverables • Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress, escalate risks or barriers, and follow through on actions • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, IT partners, data engineering teams, cloud platform teams, and leadership • Support cloud analytics modernization and reporting transition activities, including migration validation and responsible use of cloud resources • Share knowledge and promote consistent practices in documentation, requirements gathering, SQL-based analysis, analytic validation, reporting processes, and project coordination

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data governance, business analysis, quality assurance, or related data-focused functions • Strong experience with SQL, including querying, combining, analyzing, validating, and reconciling data from multiple sources • Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting solutions, including dashboards, DataMarts, reporting workflows, relational data structures, and analytic outputs • Knowledge of data quality, data governance, business rules, reporting logic, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and validation practices • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Demonstrated experience supporting data governance and stewardship activities, developing and maintaining business definitions, reporting logic, data dictionaries, metadata, reporting inventories, lineage documentation, process documentation, and governance standards • Experience in healthcare, payer, pharmacy benefit management, government programs, regulated reporting, utilization, financial analytics, or related business intelligence environments preferred • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Dataiku, or comparable technologies preferred • Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams, IT teams, data engineers, cloud platform teams, and leadership preferred • Strong project coordination and organizational skills preferred • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including data and reporting issue identification, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation preferred • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality, well-documented analytical work preferred • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent specialized training, relevant professional qualification, or comparable professional experience
