📋 Description

• Set and own technical vision and strategy across cloud, backend, automation, and platform domains • Serve as senior technical authority for high-impact initiatives • Guide architecture and shape engineering processes • Define platform direction and roadmaps with engineering leadership, product teams, and the open-source community • Lead solutions from prototype to production • Contribute to key frameworks and components • Ensure performance, security, reliability, and operational readiness • Drive innovation and execution excellence across competing priorities and teams • Mentor senior engineers • Establish strong practices for testing, observability, and CI/CD • Partner with product and architecture leaders on pragmatic design decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, including hands-on Agile delivery and building enterprise-grade distributed systems • 5+ years of development experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices • 2+ years working with Kafka or other event-driven platforms • 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies (GCP, Azure, or equivalent public cloud) • 3+ years applying engineering practices for security, resiliency, availability, and scalability in production systems • Experience with AI/generative AI solutions and technologies • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience • High school diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience as an alternative educational pathway • Experience in the health, wellness, or pharmacy domain • Contributions to open-source technology or developed patents • Full-stack development capability • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to work hybrid from the corporate headquarters in Woonsocket, Rhode Island is preferred; remote considered for candidates not in close proximity to an office
