📋 Description

• Develop and optimize data models and schemas for analytics, reporting, and machine learning • Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from multiple sources • Implement performance tuning, partitioning, and clustering to optimize queries and reduce costs • Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance frameworks, and security policies • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on data solutions integrating with BI tools and machine learning models • Create documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and processes • Share best practices and mentor junior data engineers • Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads • Model the Core Data Domain to support various access patterns and use cases • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of applicable work experience • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience developing complex queries • Experience with Python, specifically ETL pipelines • Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP) • Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, analysts, and product owners • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and building data marts • Bachelor's degree preferred, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification • Experience with machine learning flows on GCP preferred • Experience working with healthcare data preferred; Tuva or OMOP Models a plus
