📋 Description

• Complete and document benefit verification reviews • Provide information on specialty medications and home infusion services • Adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and best practices • Coordinate with Patient Intake Coordinators for new and existing accounts • Investigate insurance coverage type and level to assess patient eligibility • Communicate with medical professionals and insurance company personnel • Complete data entry in ACIS to ensure accurate reporting and outcomes • Provide input on self-reviews • Assist less experienced peers • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by leaders • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization information for new and existing patients • Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner while providing customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience verifying benefits with insurance companies • Data entry experience • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word • Verifiable high school diploma or GED required • Candidates must live within a commutable distance (within 60 minutes) of Malvern, PA; Mendota Heights, MN; or San Diego, CA • Availability for Monday–Friday shifts: 8:30am–5pm CST or 9am–5:30pm CST • Preferred: home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience • Preferred: experience working in a healthcare environment • Preferred: experience working with healthcare insurance
