📋 Description

• Process benefit verification or authorization for all new referrals with speed and accuracy • Support patients referred for specialty medications by completing benefit verification and authorization activities • Work directly with payers to understand benefit design and interpret medical policies • Obtain required authorizations • Communicate coverage details and outcomes to Patient Access staff to support timely and accurate onboarding • Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed • May perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required • Minimum of two years of related experience • Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • High degree of self-discipline in maintaining productivity expectations • Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus • Healthcare/medical billing experience preferred
