📋 Description

• Make inbound and outbound calls to members and providers throughout the working day • Help members obtain healthcare visits, screenings, vaccinations, and medication refills • Work through barriers affecting members’ health • Deliver a professional and empathetic member experience • Educate members to support healthy decisions • Discuss benefits for specific screenings and medications • Assist with health services, medications, and resources to improve Star health outcomes • Accurately document conversations in members’ health records • Escalate issues for resolution when needed • Meet business metrics and goals

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. • Advanced experience with Windows-based applications • 6 months of call center experience • High computer literacy, including ability to troubleshoot issues • Strong active listening and interpersonal skills • Hard-wired connectivity required; DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not permitted • Bilingual or multilingual candidates preferred • Experience with pharmacy terms preferred • Experience with behavior change preferred • Experience with call center or outreach involving members/consumers preferred • 3+ years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred • Medical certification preferred, such as certified nursing assistant or medical assistant • Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred • Reliable high-speed internet connection (100–200 Mbps and above) and a suitable remote workspace preferred • Professional communication skills preferred • Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, multitask, prioritize, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and maintain professionalism
