📋 Description

• Utilize a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to engage and educate members • Promote and influence members’ decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal health status • Facilitate effective health care decision-making • Improve quality of care and member satisfaction with health care plans • Facilitate appropriate use of health care resources • Provide up-to-date health care information and clarify options for members’ health problems or issues • Help members participate knowledgeably in health care decision-making with their providers • Promote healthy lifestyles and help lower personal health risks • Identify available health and wellness programs and make appropriate referrals • Provide telephone-based information and decision support to eligible members through the 24-Hour Nurse Line

🎯 Requirements

• Active unrestricted RN compact state licensure • Must reside in a nurse Compact State and hold a Compact license • 3+ years of clinical experience required, specifically in Disease Management, Emergency Room, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical Care, or Oncology • 1 year of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Microsoft Word • Proficient keyboarding skills • Telephone nursing experience preferred, especially telephone triage, emergency room, and/or urgent care experience • Managed Care experience preferred • Previous coaching experience preferred • Ability to complete 6 weeks of Monday-Friday orientation on a variable daytime schedule • Ability to work an 8-hour shift starting between 6:00 PM and 2:30 AM EST • Willingness to work every other weekend and 4 holidays per year • Excellent communication skills • Associate Degree required • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3-5 years clinical experience preferred
