📋 Description

• Own the application and data technology stack in Google Cloud, including architecture, availability, performance, and lifecycle management • Manage Cloud Run services, GKE clusters, Redis databases, BigQuery datasets, and supporting Google Cloud services • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and data workloads • Oversee containerization, configuration management, and container image lifecycle management • Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines into BigQuery • Develop and manage the BigQuery analytics data layer, including datasets and SQL-based transformations • Implement data quality checks, schema management, lineage, observability, freshness targets, and reliability monitoring • Apply data governance and security controls, including access controls, sensitive-data handling, and retention policies • Partner with analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to create reliable datasets and dashboards • Define and manage infrastructure as code and automate provisioning, environment setup, and operational tasks • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, service-level tracking, and platform health dashboards • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, on-call activities, runbook development, and operating procedures • Manage IAM roles, service accounts, network configuration, secrets, and vulnerability scanning • Plan capacity, autoscaling, backups, and disaster recovery • Collaborate with software engineering, security, and operations teams on cloud architecture and technical solutions • Leverage AI to accelerate development and automation • Develop AI agents to automate workflows and operational tasks • Evaluate Google Cloud services and contribute to roadmap and strategic planning

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud, platform, or data engineering • Hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, and BigQuery • Experience building or supporting production data pipelines • Working knowledge of Cloud Run, GKE, Redis, BigQuery, and IAM • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Docker • Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python • Strong SQL skills • Experience leveraging AI tools for development and automation • Experience designing and operating data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows, including orchestration, data modeling, and data quality practices • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience • Google Cloud certification preferred • Experience with GitOps tooling, event-driven architectures, or API gateways preferred • Experience with Cloud Composer/Airflow and BI tools such as PowerBI preferred • Experience developing AI agents preferred
