📋 Description

• Perform and support day-to-day accounting activities • Prepare and post journal entries • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Investigate and resolve accounting variances, reconciling differences, and unusual transactions • Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for balance sheet and income statement accounts • Prepare financial schedules, supporting analyses, financial statements, and reporting packages • Analyze financial results and account activity • Prepare variance analyses and explanations for leadership review • Execute internal control activities and support SOX compliance and testing • Prepare audit schedules and respond to internal and external auditor requests • Support accounting systems, ERP processes, reporting tools, system enhancements, automation, and process improvements • Assist with transition of accounting activities from shared service environments and TSA exit activities • Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Procurement, HR, and IT teams • Partner with the Accounting Manager and broader Finance organization to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and efficient processes

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience • Strong experience with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX controls, and financial reporting principles • Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations • Experience supporting month-end close processes • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • CPA preferred; CPA candidate strongly encouraged • Advanced Excel skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
