📋 Description

• Be responsible for evaluating potential financial impact of a plan design change using existing models or by working with internal partners for the coalition segment • Lead a team of 3-4 direct reports • Support the development of new tools user acceptance testing • Support training of existing or new team members on processes • Work collaboratively with other financial change order team members • Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use financial change order models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis • Coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and other departments to ensure proper controls are in place to review changes to a client’s benefit design, formulary, or implementation of a product • Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on analysis including but not limited to sales, underwriting and underwriting analytics teams • Responsible for interacting with external stakeholders and clients directly and have the ability to articulate the results of the analysis in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysis for this client.

🎯 Requirements

• 7 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education • 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis • Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required • Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders • Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities • Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes • Demonstrated experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions • Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups • Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
