📋 Description

• Develop and govern enterprise outbound transportation strategies across the CVS Health distribution network • Improve service, on-time delivery, transportation cost, network capacity, driver utilization, and trailer utilization • Partner with Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, and Store Operations • Identify and implement strategic initiatives that improve network performance and support enterprise objectives • Serve as a subject matter expert in transportation optimization, routing strategy, transportation technology, and operational design • Lead cross-functional continuous-improvement efforts focused on long-term network efficiency • Leverage Trimble Appian and AI tools to enable scalable workflows, improve visibility, and drive consistent execution • Establish and develop relationships, processes, and partnerships without managing people • Manage multiple projects and influence leaders, managers, and internal and external stakeholders • Act as a key liaison across the business and Supply Chain

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of transportation systems or systems and process experience • 5+ years of broad transportation and supply chain knowledge • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) • Ability to frame and drive shared goals • Ability to multitask numerous objectives simultaneously • Ability to think and operate independently with high-level stakeholders • Innovative and creative thinking to drive continuous process improvement • Experience with Trimble “Appian”, Omnitracs, Manhattan, Descartes, Blue Yonder, or similar routing technologies • Knowledge of trailer cube optimization, load planning, network optimization, and transportation analytics • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience • High School degree • Role requires establishing and developing relationships, processes, and partnerships • Ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and production demands
