📋 Description

• Extend and own the on-endpoint network proxy solution • Intercept and manipulate network traffic of third-party software • Hook or redirect outbound connections • Terminate and re-establish TLS sessions • Apply content-aware policies in real time • Add low-level collectors tracing data flows across apps, files, sockets, and pipes • Feed traced data into a unified event stream • Optimize performance for software monitoring hundreds of thousands of events with minimal endpoint impact • Design and build highly reliable code that does not impact end-user experience • Build secure-by-design hardened software able to withstand real-world attacks • Process untrusted data and communicate with a backend over the internet • Help evolve the product and influence product architecture

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in systems software, networking, proxy, or security engineering • Strong depth in network interception and low-level systems • Strong track record in network interception and parsing • Prior work on at least one forward proxy used by security software • Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing low-level system software • Proficient in designing and implementing application architecture • Experience with agile development and SCRUM • Proven ability to collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team • Verbal and written communication skills in English • Availability to frequently communicate with a distributed engineering team in Central European and US Eastern time zones • For US candidates, legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
