📋 Description

• Support customers through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repairs • Provide installation support, maintenance, modification, and/or repair for 1–2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and/or refrigeration instruments • Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner in accordance with ISO, FDA, and Leica policies • Support the sale of service contracts • Assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades • Provide feedback to improve financial performance and generate service revenue • Travel domestically primarily, with occasional international travel • Report to the Regional Field Service Manager as part of the Northwest US Service Organization

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation OR equivalent military experience • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to travel up to 90% by flying and/or driving, including overnight stays • Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted • Ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods, and sit; squat and kneel; ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms • Preferred: experience diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments • Preferred: networking/IT system upgrades • Bachelor's degree preferred
