📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair Beckman Coulter laboratory instruments • Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repairs • Provide efficient on-site technical support and technical training on products • Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records • Order repair parts and adhere to cycle times • Use OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for service call planning and advancing team goals • Communicate with internal and external customers and address their unique needs • Assist with training newer Field Service Engineers • Travel throughout the assigned New England territory and provide additional support outside the territory as required • Complete service documentation, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions while meeting company performance and compliance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree, preferably in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military experience • 1+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation • Experience managing a dynamic service schedule with regional travel • Ability to independently complete service documentation, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions • Ability to meet company performance and compliance requirements • Ability to travel 100% within the assigned territory, with additional support outside the territory as required • Limited overnight travel availability • Current valid driver’s license and good driving record over the last three years • Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend the neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Previous field service experience in medical devices, biotech, or other highly regulated industries is a plus • Customer-facing experience in high-pressure hospital or lab settings is a plus
