📋 Description

• Oversee accounting, reporting, and governance of Cepheid's fixed asset portfolio • Own accounting and reporting for fixed assets, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, capitalization, depreciation, CIP monitoring, journal entries, account reconciliations, rollforwards, and month-end close activities • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies, including quarterly and annual statutory reporting • Oversee the fixed asset lifecycle, Corporate Physical Inventory program, and RFID asset tracking system • Support internal and external audits and maintain effective internal controls • Partner with FP&A, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and operational teams on capital investments and timely asset capitalization • Analyze financial results and provide management reporting • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum 5 years of fixed asset accounting experience • CPA or CPA candidate preferred • Experience supporting large capital expenditure programs preferred • Experience with physical asset inventories and capitalization processes preferred • Experience with SAP Fixed Assets (FI-AA) strongly preferred • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies • Ability to support audits and internal controls • Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: n/a
