📋 Description

• Perform all necessary analysis and reconciliations to maintain an accurate inventory system • Perform cost accounting and analysis • Oversee at least one direct report • Manage and support cost accounting functions for multiple sites • Conduct cost analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and lead cost reduction projects • Investigate and resolve inventory sub-ledger discrepancies within ERP • Assist with quarterly inventory reserve calculation review • Analyze actual versus standard variances • Conduct annual standard cost updates • Perform month-end cost of sales analysis • Partner on internal and external audit requests and administer cost accounting-related SOX controls • Support budget preparation and product-cost analysis • Participate in inventory reduction efforts • Track scrap and obsolete inventories • Work with Operations on physical inventory counts • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, cycle counts, and other inventory functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting • 8 years' experience in cost accounting • SAP experience preferred
