📋 Description

• Validate new Chemistry and Immunoassay instrument installations to meet Beckman Coulter and customer requirements • Prepare customers for and complete validation studies, including instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons • Collaborate with customer Key Operators during validation to reinforce training and ensure readiness • Address operational and performance questions in line with specifications and regulatory standards • Provide onsite and remote phone support for assay- and QC-related customer questions • Provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation • Partner with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams • Cover the Mid-Atlantic region as part of the Field Applications Team within the North America Service Organization

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree with a minimum combined experience of 3+ years in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or another related field • Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry, with heavy emphasis on the laboratory regulatory environment • Ability to travel up to 90% by flying and/or driving, including overnight stays • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb. • Medical technology experience, preferably familiarity with Beckman analyzers • Knowledge of standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and COLA
