⢠Serve as Dandelion Energy's primary technical resource for Mountain West geothermal operations ⢠Train HVAC trade partner installers, service technicians, and owners on equipment, installation standards, commissioning, startup documentation, and service diagnostics ⢠Onboard trade and builder partners and bring crews to competence on geothermal equipment ⢠Conduct ride-alongs and jobsite coaching ⢠Build and maintain troubleshooting trees, service bulletins, commissioning checklists, and knowledge base articles ⢠Monitor field performance and recommend installation, commissioning, and service-process improvements ⢠Travel to other regions for training and support ⢠Provide phone, text, and email technical support across the Mountain West ⢠Troubleshoot escalated, repeat-visit, and high-priority issues across the Denver metro ⢠Diagnose heat pump refrigerant circuits, controls, fault codes, flow centers, circulators, ground loops, airside systems, auxiliary heat, backup heat, and electrical systems ⢠Support commissioning, startup verification, and quality inspections ⢠Document root causes and log interactions to identify recurring issues ⢠Escalate product issues to Engineering and OEM technical support through resolution ⢠Review and evaluate warranty claims, assess coverage, verify diagnoses, and determine covered defects versus installation, application, or maintenance errors ⢠Apply labor allowance policy and communicate warranty decisions to partners ⢠Manage parts returns, failure analysis, and warranty recovery from manufacturers ⢠Identify warranty trends and drive corrective actions through training, bulletins, standards updates, or Engineering escalation ⢠Flag systemic quality issues, training gaps, and claim abuse ⢠Assist with parts procurement and delivery through the regional distribution center
⢠5+ years of hands-on HVAC field service experience ⢠EPA Section 608 certification, Type II or Universal ⢠Demonstrated ability to teach working tradespeople across experience levels ⢠Comfort with electrical diagnosis, including service sizing, voltage, contactors, sequencers, and control wiring ⢠Sound judgment and diplomacy under pressure ⢠Clear written communication ⢠Ability to build durable working relationships with contractor and builder partners ⢠Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record ⢠Located in or willing to relocate to the Denver metro area ⢠Direct geothermal or water-source heat pump experience is a bonus ⢠IGSHPA Accredited Installer, IGSHPA Certified GeoExchange Designer, or NATE certification is a bonus ⢠Hydronics, boiler, radiant, or well-and-pump experience is a bonus ⢠Experience with communicating controls, DDC, or remote system monitoring and telemetry is a bonus ⢠Prior experience delivering technical training or evaluating warranty claims is a bonus ⢠Experience supporting production homebuilders or new-construction channels is a bonus ⢠Ability to work in mechanical rooms, basements, crawlspaces, attics, unconditioned or outdoor spaces, and active construction sites ⢠Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds ⢠Ability to perform extended computer and phone work ⢠Ability to work occasional extended hours during cold-weather events
