📋 Description

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the disability claims team • Ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with industry standards, and achievement of key performance indicators • Supervise daily claims-team operations, including case assignments and performance management • Oversee scheduling, quality assurance, and/or administrative functions • Ensure all intakes are addressed promptly • Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and team goals • Ensure client inquiries and communications are addressed in a timely manner • Monitor and assess team performance against established KPIs and metrics • Identify process-improvement opportunities and implement action plans • Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiencies • Maintain accurate records and documentation according to company policy and regulatory standards • Prepare team-performance reports and present them to management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a Disability Group Insurance setting is preferred • Background in Long Term / Short Term Disability Claims is advantageous • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred • Prior experience with disability claims processing is highly desirable • Strong leadership and communication skills are required • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions effectively • Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems is essential • Reliable internet connection for remote work • Ability to stay connected to fulfill job responsibilities
