📋 Description

• Lead commercial construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects across multiple locations • Oversee installation and integration of critical infrastructure and industrial equipment, including autoclaves, wash lines, compactors, boiler rooms, plumbing, gas piping, and electrical systems • Travel approximately 50% for site walks, inspections, progress reviews, and project closeout activities • Read and interpret blueprints, MEP drawings, and equipment specifications to guide project execution • Solicit, evaluate, and manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery • Direct and mentor skilled trades teams, providing guidance, performance feedback, and safety leadership • Monitor project budgets, schedules, documentation, and reporting while addressing risks and delays • Ensure compliance with building codes, permitting requirements, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a General Contractor or in a comparable commercial construction, project management, or site leadership role • Valid General Contractor license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment • OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification • Valid driver's license in good standing • Experience managing multiple skilled trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and other subcontracted services • Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, including boiler rooms, gas piping, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure • Experience obtaining, evaluating, and negotiating bids, contracts, scopes of work, and change orders with contractors and subcontractors • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, MEP drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents • Working knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, OSHA regulations, and construction safety best practices • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, vendor management, and project management skills • Ability to travel approximately 50% • Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
