• Support the Credentialing Department with administrative, communication, and document-collection activities for onboarding, credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging of clinical staff • Serve as the primary administrative contact for new staff during onboarding • Communicate credentialing expectations and follow up on outstanding documents • Coordinate communication between Credentialing, People Operations, department leaders, and external licensing or training entities • Request, collect, track, organize, and verify required documents • Monitor expirations of licenses, DEA credentials, and life support certifications • Maintain logs, spreadsheets, checklists, and credentialing databases • Compile credentialing documents for review and organize files according to HRSA best-practice standards • Coordinate meeting schedules, committee packet deadlines, and communication timelines • Provide status updates, identify documentation gaps, and streamline administrative workflows • Maintain audit-ready credentialing files supporting HRSA Operational Site Visits and FTCA requirements • Assist staff with document needs and process questions • Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth onboarding and timely start dates • Support continuous quality improvement efforts within the credentialing department
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including those related to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans • Strong organizational and communication skills • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in clinical credentialing • Experience working with credential software such as MD Staff, preferred • Ability to lift 50 pounds and move from place to place • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to safe work practice
