• Own and manage strategic and tactical relationships with EMS partners, electrical component manufacturers, and authorized distributors • Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business and engineering roadmaps • Gather and maintain global PCBA and electronic components market intelligence • Manage PCBA cost through development and sustaining, including cost modeling, should-cost, and forecasting • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on supplier readiness for new product development • Manage P/AVL, alternative component identification, component selection guidance, second-source recommendations, and BOM risk assessments • Support PCBA design reviews and DFM/DFA activities • Manage NPI with key contract manufacturing partners through prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production builds • Own BOM risk management, dashboards, and risk reporting • Drive EMS supplier performance scorecards, KPIs, quality, delivery, compliance, and supply assurance • Drive supply forecasting and manage allocation and shortage scenarios • Lead cost reduction programs, should-cost models, PPV, cost savings, and cost avoidance reporting • Drive quoting, contracting, commercial workflows, and supplier negotiations • Own PCBA/EMS supplier contracting across the enterprise • Institute and lead quarterly business reviews for key EMS partners
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related technical field • 10+ years of progressive procurement, commodity management, or strategic sourcing experience • Direct ownership of PCBA and/or electrical component commodities • Experience managing EMS / contract manufacturing relationships across global footprints • Working knowledge of active and passive electrical components, semiconductors, connectors, relays, and franchised distribution channels • Hands-on BOM risk management experience, including EOL/last-time-buy strategies, lifecycle monitoring, and alternate part qualification • Proven supplier negotiation, contract, and commercial workflow experience, including MSAs, supply agreements, and SOWs • Familiarity with quality and manufacturing standards relevant to PCBAs • Experience operating across supplier bases in Asia, Mexico, and the United States • Familiarity with open-book costing and tear-down / cost breakdown negotiations • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost / should-cost modeling • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills • Excellent written and verbal communication and good command of the English language • Ability to sit and/or stand for periods of time • Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and other equipment with or without accommodation • Ability to maintain awareness during business hours • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds • U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR and EAR • MBA preferred • Active security clearance is a bonus, not required
